    Hello,

I use the tuto "The Perfect Server - Debian Wheezy (Apache2, BIND, Dovecot, ISPConfig 3)"

My server have only 1 IP

I manage my domain (dns informations) throught my registrar or with Amazon Route 53

Domain's websites are OK but I can't receive or send email !

Could you tell me which informations I must put for DNS (on Amazon Route53 or my registrar), must I add MX records ? or only * A myserverIP ? and If i need to manage DNS with ISP Config (I don't want a DNS server) ?

    Thank you,
    Have a nice day.

ou ust add a mx record which has to point to the hostnae of your server (or to another domain / subdomain which has a a-record that points to your server). You dnt have to use the dns on ispconfig for that, using the dns server of your registry is fine.

After you did that, check the mail.log file for errors.

    Hello, I deleted the mail.log file and now I don't have a new mail.log file :-(
How to initialise for another mail.log file ?

The domain is "morlaer.com", it use Amazon Route 53 DNS and DNS informations seems to be OK

I added the domain, and create a mailbox [email protected]
    I uncomment the lines :
    submission inet n - - - - smtpd
    smtps inet n - - - - smtpd
I sent a message from/to this email address with Roundcube
I sent a message from this email address to another gmail address with Roundcube
But I never received email :-(

    Hi,

I just had the same problem. It was amavist which had not started. So

    > /etc/init.d/amavis start

    and you're done!
