    Hello!

Backup option within ISPConfig is not working as expected.
Actually, it doesn't delete old backups.
I've set it up to backup daily and to keep the last two backups (screenshot below)

But '/var/backup/web7' has file backups for several other days (screenshot below).

    Two things bug me:
    1. it uses HDD space unnecessary and
    2. it stores only file backups for those other days, not DB backups.
Is there any way to fix this?

Did you change it to two days from a longer timespan recently, or was it set at days for several days now?

And other site on the same server is set to backup daily and to keep 3 last backups.

And there is DB backup from last 3 days (Dec 17th, Dec 18th and Dec 19th), but file backup is from Dec 16th, Dec 18th and Dec 19th.

If I remember correctly, there was a problem that old backups were not deleted correctly when you chose a shorter backup period. If yu can not find a bugreport for the issue in the bugtracker, then feel free to add a new one so that we can check that for ispconfig 3.2.

I've set it to backup once daily and it only backups data not the database.

Check that the correct mysql root password is set in the file /usr/local/ispconfig/server/lib/mysql_clientdb.conf and that the linux programs "zip" and "sudo" are installed.

MySQL password is correct and zip and sudo are installed

    Code:
Package sudo-1.8.6p3-25.el6_8.i686 already installed and latest version
Package zip-3.0-1.el6_7.1.i686 already installed and latest version

Check the database details in ISPConfig and ensure that a website is selected there for this database.
