Hi I am wanting to implement a captive portal using iptables on my centos server. I am not looking for any user to login I simply want to redirect all traffic to the default apache webserver on my centos machine regardless of what domain they try to get, so they can only browse through what is on my webserver only. I have setup a wireless router that uses dhcp to assign all connctions an ip and assign my server as the default gateway and dns. I have read some articles about this around the web but they all relate to a login service. I just want all web traffic redirected to my servers site regardless. Any help with this would be appreciated.
I have been trying to use parts of this tutorial, which does it with iptables, but I am not having much success http://www.andybev.com/index.php/Using_iptables_and_PHP_to_create_a_captive_portal trying to use thisline from it specifically but get error with the nat option? -A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT -t nat -A PREROUTING -j internet Any ideas on this?
