Hello, right now my DNS config are dns1.somehost.com dns2.somehost.com but, I want to change to dns1.myhost.com dns2.myhost.com The thing is, how can I do that withou mess with everything? Do I have to do anything on my registrar or just change dns1.somehost.com to my IP address instead? thanks
You have to change this at your registrar. The DNS Server is alaways a hostname and can not be an IP address.
Sorry for buging you, but can you help me just with that? right now I have the following config: dns01.somedomain.com dns02.somedomain.com as DNS, and I use the same to connect to my ISPConfig panel: http://mydomain.somedomain.com:81/ what I would like to do is, remove the somehost.com and put mine like: ns1.mydomain.com ns2.mydomain.com withow putting my site offline for too long.. what do I need to do first? do you want me to post here any config file? thank you falko ps: I can give you my real domain names by PM if you want to.
