Change of IP

I started setting up my ISPConfig server at home, using an IP from my router. However, now it is transferred over to a colocation facility.

I have changed the IP in the main server info, but now when I go to one of the sites that have been added in a browser, it just sends to the main IP homepage (/var/www/html/index.html) rather than the proper homepage (/var/www/site1/web/index.html)

I have tried editing the IP info in one of the sites under DNS configuration section of ISPConfig, but that doesn't seem to fix it.

Do I need to delete the sites and start over?

You must change the IP address in ISPConfig under management > server > settings, then open every website, make sure that the correct IP is selected and click on the save button.

OK now it goes to an error page that says:

This IP address is shared. For access to the web site which you look for, enter its address instead of its IP.

By the way, thanks for all your help in supporting this program! Once I get everything up and running, I'll be sure to support you guys any way I can :)

If you get the shared IP message, then you selected the wrong IP address for the website.

The server (and website) IP is 64.40.112.130

Also, when I create a NEW site, it works perfectly. As far as I can tell, my old sites have the same settings across the entire admin panel.

By the way, the last time I restared Apache, I got this error:

[Fri Aug 31 14:20:04 2007] [warn] VirtualHost 192.168.2.177:80 overlaps with VirtualHost 192.168.2.177:80, the first has precedence, perhaps you need a NameVirtualHost directive

So there are still remnants of my old IP... How can I find these?

Have a look at the file /etc/apache2/vhosts/Vhosts_ispconfig.conf, if you find the IP there, do not edit this file. Instead. open the website in ISPConfig, select the correct IP and click on save.
