Hi all, I need tomove my server to another location and I nedd to change the IP address. My server it's Debian 8.4 Jessie (Apache2, BIND, Dovecot, ISPConfig 3.1) I changet IP and GATEWAY on /etc/network/interfaces I changed IP on /etc/hosts and now where I need to manually modify ip for have the server running fine?
You'll also need to update DNS records which point to the old address, any websites set to that address (sites using '*' are fine), change under System > Server Config and check both System > Server IP addresses and System > System IPv4 mapping. Maybe do a quick 'grep -R IP /etc/' to search for the old ip in use in other places, eg. maybe it was a nameserver in /etc/resolv.conf.
