Is there anyway for an email user (not admin or client) to change their mail password?
I'm using ISPconfig3 with SquirrelMail as webmail, and the only way to change the password for a user is to login as admin (or client) on ISPconfig, and change it for them. (this way the admin or client will always know the password of the user!)

I have configured my server from Here

I went through this but it seems to be not working now ...

There are plugins available for roundcube and squirrelmail so that email users can change their passwords directly from within theri webmail accounts:

    Roundcube:

    Squirrelmail:

Beside these 2 options, a third option with a direct login to ispconfig will be availbale in ispconfig 3.0.5.

ISPConfig 2 is a completely different software, so this thread does not apply to ispconfig 3.
