I've set a new password (user&email) for a user. I'm right that this password is to login to ISPConfig and for .htaccess files?

The problem ist, that the user can't login to ISPConfig an not to .htaccess protectet sites.

The password is'nt se some hours later by cron?

Users can never login to the main ISPConfig login. they can only login to the /mailuser/ login.

The .htaccess file for the site statistics is updated once per day in the early morning hours, so it may take up to 24 hours until a user can login to the site stats.

I did'nt mean the main ISPConfig login.
So if I start the cron manualy the .htaccess file protected changed password would be useble immediately, or how could I speed up a new password if a user lost it?

Is there any way to create .htaccess files automaticly with ISPConfig which password set take affect immediately?

You can create .htaccess files in the ISPConfig Web-FTP that are created immediately, but not for the statistics directory.
