Theres an email address on my server, (non admin) and isp config says its using 10mb of the 10mb allowed, but the user insists that there is little to no mail in the inbox.. and his client isnt set to leave a copy on the server

Is there any way i can check into this further? see where the 10mb is.

    Thanks
    Ryan

Please be aware that other files stored under this account e.g. in the website account to this quota. To check this, cd into the home directoyr of the user and run:

    du -h --max-depth=1

this isnt the main user, its just one he has for email purposes. So i suspect it could be down to mail trapped in the system somewhere

    the email reads

Check /tmp for files owned by that user.
    Possibly mailscanner leftovers.
