I noticed in the mail warning logs that yahoo had refused the connection a couple of time. When I passed this message to yahoo they explain that when they detect bulk sending their server may apply a temporary block to IPs. My clients are all very low usage of the mail service. Is their a way I can check the outgoing mail? Munin shows this...
The best way to cehck outgoing emails is to take a look in the mail log. E.g. dio a grep for yahoo.com.
Everything looks fairly normal there from the ispconfig cp. If I want to look a little further, where do I find the full log? This is probably a daft question, but how do I know other users aren't using my outgoing mail server?
All linux logfiles are in the directory /var/log/ Everything that is related to email is logged in the mail log file. So if someone else uses your mailserver, then you find this in the mail log file too.
