Wow, Did I just make a huge mistake...While trying to make a permission change to a totally different folder I some how changed everything in the /etc folder. Not sure how bad this is but I'd like to reset everything if its possible...Any pointers would be a Godsend! Willebanks
Thank God for timely backups.... As luck would have it my hard drive died 2 hours after this happened...Thankfully I am religious in my backups and was able to correct all the changes I screwed up....don't know why I didn't think to use the backup.
