Hi guys, for a couple of days now I receive a warning from ISPconfig 3 monitor that ClamAV is outdated and I should update it on 0.95.3 from the installed version 0.95.2 apt-get can't find a new version and as far as I searched I couldn't find any update instructions. My major concern is not to break my current installation so I won't update from sources without a proper guide. Has anyone come across anything similar? Thanks for your time
See this thread for explanation: http://howtoforge.org/forums/showthread.php?t=40555&highlight=ClamAV
Thanks for your help. By reading the thread it only mentions for a misleading warning which is not actually the case. While all the signatures are up-to-date, new versioned software usually fixes mistakes on old versions and/or adds new features etc. In the case of ClamAV, since in the official site there is a new release which they claim is in Ubuntu backports repository and it not, there should be a way of upgrading to the latest version. If anyone has figured this out please share it.
I am having the same problem. I thought this thread would help, but for me it did not seem to work. I am also looking for a solution to this.
Same issue here too. I was looking around to find a source to add to /etc/apt/sources.list with a public key but can't find any. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Mark.
