I'm trying to get clamAV running on a Debian Sarge xen host.

TLS is disabled on domU and dom0.

Does the TLS.disabled have any effect for clamAV?
Maybe it needs the TLS library and that's the reason why I'm nearly giving up to use clamAV.

I dont think that clamav need tls. If tls is needed and not present, you can not install ISPConfig as the compile process of clamav will stop.

No. If you don't rename tls to tls.disabled in your Xen host, you will have some performance loss, so you should do it.
