    All,

Running the latest ISPConfig 2 and FC8. With the EOL of ClamAV on Apr 15, things (inbound / outbound email) are no longer functioning on the server.

    /var/log/maillog filled with the following:

    NetEndeavors,

Did you every resolve this issue? I see the same issue on a server and would be interested in the solution.

    Till,

Do you know if that is the only solution? Updating ISPConfig is bear. I'm looking for a solution to the clamav issue other than updating ISPConfig. I do not use ISPConfig for email but ISPConfig continues to want to try and run the show. I currently use Postfix. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you dont use ISPConfig, then this thread here is not related to your problem. The clamav this thread is talking about is integral part of ISPConfig and so it gets only updated with ispconfig (it is installed in /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/tools/clamav/...)

If you dont use ispconfig, then your clamav does not use the settings and compile defaults from ispconfig. In this case, can try to search in the RPM repositorys were you got your clamav from if there is a newer version or ask the feadora mailing list on how to compile a clamav for your specific system, as the ispconfig clamav installation will not work without ispconfig.
