    Hi,

I recently updated to ISPConfig 2.2.37 since then about every five days my server grindds to a halt with a huge load average of 25.0. The problem is fixed by stopping postfix and then running a

    # killall -HUP clamscan

Once the load average drops below 1 I restart postfix and almost immediatly I see clamscan overloading the system again.

For moment Iive disabled Anti Virus checks.

Has any one elase seen this behaviour?
Where can I look to see if there are any emails that carried a virus?

    regards,

The current versions of clamav use more resources then older versions, the resource usage of clamav increased over the last years. One workarounf if your server is not handle the additional load is to reconfigure the system to use clamd instead of clamscan.
