Hi, I do the top command on Debian 5 and It's showing clamd is using up 18.6% of my Memory... is there any way to fix this? I'm on a VPS with 512 MB RAM... Thanks, Nolan
hi there, I chosed not to make a new topic because this was the result of my search on google. I have just changed my OS on my VPS (from Media Temple, the 512MB Ram) from Debian to Ubuntu 10.04 and I noticed that there is a huge memory consumption difference in Ubuntu as in Debian. I have a 18% memory consumption and I don't know what to do about it, any help please? And If I disable clamav, I won't be having a antivirus scan for my files? No other inconveniences? My avamis will keep scanning for spams even though I have clamav and spamasssasin stoped, right?
