I tried to switch to clamdscan, got an error that it was an outdated version, but started it, then restarted ISPConfig. My mail seems to be working; although it's taking a long time to send and receive...but can anyone tell me how to update my clamdscan and make sure it is working properly?

    Thanks.

How important is it that I upgrade? It seems to be running fine.

If the Clamav version gets too old, you will not get the latest antivirus signatures anymore.

Is there any other way to update it on Ubuntu? When I installed it, it gave me a message that said it was out of date and that I should go to a specific URL...unfortunately, I accidentally closed the window and don't know where it is. Has anyone done this on Ubuntu?

Maybe you can use the debian volatile repositories for ubuntu too. But I never tested this, anyone have experience with that?
