I'm browsing through my database (which is already a couple a years old now) and I find a lot of records that are not in use anymore. For example a DNS record that already has been removed, is still in the database.

Is there a way to cleanup the database so anything that is not needed anymore is removed?

Did you empty all recycle bins in ISPConfig?

    Yes, all those are emptied.

In that case all you can do is clean up the database manually, but please make a backup of the database before you do this as there's a high risk that you mess up the database.
