Hello, when i create new client at ISPC, i need someone to clarify some info can this client login as ftp? can this client login as ssh? what are the defaults? do i need to create unique ftp user for each domain under the same client? sorry newbie questions but i've tried to search and couldn't find that info
No. A client can login to ISPConfig only. When you want to login by ssh, create an ssh user in ISPConfig after you addded the website and if you want t login by FT, create an FTP user.
so you mean if one client has 10 websites under his account and he needs ftp access and ssh to manage that 10 websites he needs to have 10 unique FTP users and 10 unique SSH users?
It depends on how the websites are created. If the principal site is created under Website and the others are created using aliasdomain (vhost) for instance, you may not need multiple / 10 unique ftp and ssh users.
