Hi, been running ispconfig for a decade now on a vps and would like to move it to an lxd container. Test install went smooth, the syslog errors i encountered are reported to be of cosmetic nature and can be ignored. So far i have used ispconfig just for mails and stuff like xenforo installs was running on another Server with more power. My question now is this, how would i move the one mail account and it's emails? Would it suffice to reconfigure MX records to point to the new ispconfig, and is it enough to just create the same email domain / account with same password on the new ispconfig and let my local Thunderbird IMAP refill the new ispconfig, if that is even possible nowadays?
went with imapsync ... --useuid --nofoldersizes, just wish i knew how to make it faster then 8.4msg/s or 400MB/h
