    in reference to the howto I tried to install the new version 2.0 but it seems that heartbeat and vmware server 2.0 are not compatible with the serial ports, the processor remains at 90%, seems to be a problem during the reading of heartbeat on the serial port, you happened to you this thing?
    thanks

    when it write this the heartbeat read serial process is at 100%:

    3040 ? SL 1:50 heartbeat: read: serial /dev/ttyS0

    if I write this:
    # stty < /dev/ttyS0

    the output is:

    speed 115200 baud; line = 0;
    min = 1; time = 1;
    igncr -icrnl -imaxbel
    -opost
    -isig -icanon -echo
