Hi All, I have around more the 120k users, with different quota policies. Can ISPConfig3 be helpful for me.... Can ISPConfig3 (latest one) be deployed in Cluster mode? Is there any HOWTO available for Clustering / HA for ISPConfig3.... Thanks in advance... BR, Brjon
Yes, you can run as many mailservers in a ispconfig cluster as you need with just one controlpanel interface. A tutorial that describes a cluster setup will be published today on howtoforge. The tutorail covers also webserver and mysql server clustering, but you need only the part that mirrors the /var/vmail directory and not the mysql database mirroring or the mirroring of /var/www which is described in that tutorial too.
I can't believe my luck - that's what I set myself to accomplish today! Awaiting eagerly the results of aforementioned tutorial. PS. I thought I pass the downtime in the meanwhile by becoming a subscriber. I logged in to paypal but it only offers me payment with credit card. I want to pay from my German bankaccount with 'Lastschrift' but it's not an option. Is this by design?
The tutorial has just been published. Thats a known paypal problem. They require a credit card for all kind of subscriptions. For users from germany we can do a 6 month subscription (25 EUR) by invoice. If you are interested, please send me a email to info [at] projektfarm [dot] de
