Hi group! This is my first post so please be patient with me. I installed and configured ISPConfig on debian etch. My site is working fine for now www.example.com.co and I'm trying to make a little project like a web site for eCommerce with Joomla! and VirtueMart. So I think that I need a codomain for testing, nothing else and to not interrupt the main site. I created the codomain on co-domain tab like test as hostname and example.com.co as domain and with the DNS records and test as forward. But when I point my web browser to test.example.com.co, the message File not found is killing me. So I would to know what's happening? is there a misconfiguration or a lack of configuration? AFAIK, a co-domain is just a domain that points to the same webspace as the "main" domain. What you probably want is to add a second web for testing and copy that to the main web once you are satisfied. Or did I misunderstand you?
Co-domain not working SOLVED Hi Thanks in advanced for your answer. Yes I want to add a second web for testing but I don't want to replace, only testing purpose. I think I fix the problem because a person told me how to do it. I create a directory and that's it! So I hope this could help anyone out there Thanks!
