co-domains

    I am back again.

    where can i find the map if i use a co-domain

    and

    if i create a co-domain on my own site then i get the message

    The Domain belongs to another client.

    Next >>


    is this because i use softlink.nl in my server configuration??

    Management>>Server>>Settings>>Domain: softlink.nl <<is this wrong????

    Hi Eleanor,

    If you create a co-domain, no map will appear in the structure tree!
    Of course you can create a co-domain and (for example) you can forward it to any folder within your webspace or other location, but if you like to have a new map within the structure tree, you can do this:

    Example subdomain:
    mysite.mydomain.com

    Create a new web for the client with "mysite" for the hostname and mydomain.com for the domainname. and the subdomain appears within the structure tree.

    If you choose for this method, you've to realise that the subdomain is a separate web!

    Please check that the same domain is not assigned to another client, even not if the entry is in the recycle bin.

    ok sorry i look in the Management Recycle Bin but it was in the ISP Manager Recycle Bin
