.co.uk email works but not .com

I've setup my ispconfig 3 on ubuntu and used fasthost/ukreg to glue my .co.uk domain records to my own ns1 and ns2. All seems to be working very well on the web front but when it comes to email, the .com domains will not receive emails to them.

Have I set the DNS records up wrong?

Make sure that you created MX records for your .com domains that point to the hostname of your server and then make sure that the hostname of your server exists in dns and that it has a dns a-record that points to the ip of your server.

I think so, I used the same dns wizard as I did for the .co.uk names that do seem to work.

    The records are as below:

    A mail 93.97.188.1 0
    A wooodsidekennels.com. 93.97.188.1 0
    A www 93.97.188.1 0
    MX wooodsidekennels.com. mail.wooodsidekennels.com. 10
    NS wooodsidekennels.com. ns1.badbison.co.uk. 0
    NS wooodsidekennels.com. ns2.badbison.co.uk. 0

    do they appear correct?

Looks ok, and I'm getting this which looks ok as well:

Maybe you had to wait a little bit longer - DNS changes can take up to 72 hours until they propagate.

Yeah I did suspect that. The name server records were only confirmed as glued Monday morning and I appreciate it can take 72 hours. I just assumed all was in order as the hosted sites for the domain was landing on my server so I assumed the email would work too. Appreciate that email can follow any route across the Internet. Also possible that the uk domains function properly because I'm in the uk and uk based servers have updated.

Ill try keep my impatience at bay until 72 hrs are up!

    Thanks

Patience really is a virtue. Mail started getting delivered this morning almost exactly 72 hours later.
