This might sound like a ridiculous question to you guys but i'm obviously new into this world (we all have to start somewhere).. my question is, how or where can you write down commands in my Linux(Debian) <-- I'm running it on a VM at the moment.. anything helps, thanks!
Do you have a desktop or server? On a server, you should see a console right away where you can log in and type commands. If you'Re on a desktop, you can open a terminal (must be somewhere in the menu) and type your commands there.
