Hi, i had installed the ispconfig 3 server and in my scenario, the ispconfig server will be the primary name server as ns1.harmoneehotels.com and i had registered the domain harmoneehotels.com with godaddy and now i need a complete guide from start of ispconfig 3 configuration, and how to register my name server in godaddy as a global registerar currently i had installed a fresh copy of ispconfig 3 using http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-fedora-13-x86_64-ispconfig-3 now i need to know is there any thing need to be configured in the server config, server settings and dns manager please help me as soon as possible thanq and also help me to add the glue record to godaddy http://www.howtoforge.com/how-to-run-your-own-name-server-with-ispconfig-3-and-fast-hosts
If you want to host the harmoneehotels.com zone on ns1.harmoneehotels.com, you need a glue record. For other zones that you host on ns1.harmoneehotels.com, no glue record is needed.
