Hi, I have changed : CLAMSCAN=/home/admispconfig/ispconfig/tools/clamav/bin/clamdscan on /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/tools/clamav/bin/clamassassin NotifyClamd /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/tools/clamav/etc/clamd.conf on /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/tools/clamav/etc/freshclam.conf and ScanMail 1 on /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/tools/clamav/etc/clamd.conf But I have this error on the mail X-Virus-Status: Failed X-Virus-Report: /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/tools/clamav/bin/clamdscan error 2 X-Virus-Checker-Version: clamassassin 1.2.4 with clamdscan / ClamAV 0.91.2/5470/Thu Jan 10 15:49:37 2008
Dif you setup a startscript for clamd and started clamd? It is not enough to change just the lines in clamassassin: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16204
I have just modified the file. I have installed clamav-daeamon. It's OK after an update of ISPConfig, I must remake the same thing? Thanks
Why not default ? or installation choice ? Hi ! I'd change this to use clamd before, cause clamscan take huge load/time to do his job. After update of ispconfig, I must redo the same changes. Question : why clamd is not the default use ?? Even if clamscan is the default, could you do a choice at install/upgrade time ? That could be great ! THANKS !
Because the installer would then have to check if there's already a clamd running, and if not, install it, create init scripts and system startup links, etc. And for clamscan, we just have to put the program on the server, nothing else.
