Hello, I have my ISP Config server up and running for my webserver. I am stating to move mail now. I can move the email over. This is fine. But, for a given website: www.website.com Where am I pointing the mail to? Or, can I define this somewhere? imap.website.com? smtp.website.com? Thanks! Joseph
You can use any domain name as smtp and pop3 / imap server that points to your server. If you want to use e.g. imap.website.com and smtp.website.com, then ensure that these addressesexist in dns and resolve to the ip addressof your server. but you can use also just website.com or even www.website.com, as long as the email and web server is installed on the same system.
