    Hi there.

I have my Debian server, I added a 2nd-ary user (I'll call it for now: user) and gave it ALL root permissions trough the visudo command, but no effect.

Here what I have in my visudo

    root ALL=(ALL) ALL
    user ALL=(ALL) ALL

Mainly I want that 2nd-ary user, so I can deactivate the root login and be able to navigate to all folders with my 2nd-ary users and use sudo for commands.

    Any ideas?

Do you get any error messages?

Did you try to log out and back in?

Well, doesn't matter anymore. I run my commands with sudo and I have users for each and one of my domains (for ftp), so everything it's ok now

    Thank you very much
