Hello there, i'm new to this forum. I followed this excellent tutorial on how to manage virtual users with pure-ftp on my debian. Everything works well when i connect through a FTP client using my login/pass. However, i would like my users to be able to connect easily throughout internet explorer and widely used browsers like firefox. Problem is whenever people try to connect by entering ftp.domain.com it will say "the connection with the server was reset". It works with the method ftp://login:[email protected] but i would like the browser to show the login/pass windows whenever you try to log as anonymous. Can someone tell me how should i set pure-ftp to solve this problem ? Thank your for your attention
