Hello everyone, I'm experiencing an issue with installing ISPConfig 3 using the howtoforge ispconfig-autoinstall-debian-ubuntu guide and would appreciate any assistance you can provide. Issue Description: The installation completes without any errors, and everything appears to be set up correctly. When I attempt to access the control panel via myserver . com : 8080, the page loads indefinitely and never displays the login interface. This issue occurs regardless of the operating system or web server I use. Environments Tried: Ubuntu 24.04 with Apache Debian 12 with Apache Debian 12 with Nginx (current setup) Note: All installations were performed on fresh systems. What I've Checked So Far: Firewall Settings: Confirmed with my hosting provider that port 8080 and the other ports mentioned in the guide are open. Used a port scanner to verify that port 8080 is accessible from the outside. Web Server Accessibility: Visiting myserver . com (port 80) displays the default Nginx/Apache page. Error Logs: Reviewed Nginx and system logs but didn't find any relevant information related to this issue. No. Which indicates that the issue is a problem of your environment and not an issue with the ISPConfig system or installation. Most likely port 8080 is blocked outside of your server, e.g. in an external firewall or router, or the port is redirected to a different system. Try this on the shell of your server: wget https://localhost:8080 does wget download an HTML page? If yes, ispconfig is working and access is blocked externally.

You were right, i tried accesing the page with w3m from the server where i installed ispconfig3 and the page loads correctly so the issue seems to be somwhere else. Thanks for the help
