Hi, What is the right way to add DNS records when adding a new mail server to a multiserver setup. I used the wizard to add DNS records for the domain so I already have: mail.domain.tld ---> A and MX records So now i I have added a new server called "mail2.domain.tld" do I add only a new MX record or both A and MX records? Also - If I add a new webserver to the setup - what new DNS records do I add if any? Thanks.
You need to create an A record for mail2.domain.tld and then an MX record for all domains that will use mail2.domain.tld. At least an A record for the hostname.
