Hello, I have been trying to create a user for my newly created website. But, each time I try to make a new user, ISPConfig seems to keep adding the word "default" in front of my user names. Example: joe becomes defaultjoe I can not modify the user name once made. And, I can not make a name that does not end up starting with "default". Ideas on how to stop the "default" from appending itself on to my FTP iser names? Thanks Joe
Ruby on Rails site Hello, I am slowly making progress with my new server. Little roadblocks get in my way, and I remove them I uploaded my wifes website to my new server. It is written in Ruby on Rails. I get the following error: Application error Rails application failed to start properly I walked through the install as per the Debian version with dovecot, apache2, etc... I activated the Ruby on Rails option when creating her site. Ideas? Do I need to "start" Rails to make this work? If so, can someone explain how? Thanks Joe
this feature is named the username prefix. is it reqired when a server hosts multiple clients. You can configure it under System > interface config.
Hello Till, Thanks for the pointer. I realized where I went wrong. I did not create a client and assign the website to a client. Problem solved. Thanks! Joseph
