Hi: I have an Ubuntu Breezy Badger/ISPConfig server running fine, some days ago i need to reinstall it due a electrical failure, since this happend i was looking for a method to avoid the reinstall process and found this How To by Falko : http://www.howtoforge.com/howto_linux_systemimager ...in server all goes nice im my IPSConfig server (client in this case) i got the following message after run apt-get update ... When i ran Code: si_prepareclient --server my_server_IP after an alert about SSH security i got this message Can u help me to fix this problems pls.... Hello again... Playing whit a Debian Sarge box i found that if i install the server package all goes fine in the preparation of Golden Client...i ran: and after And the prepareclient process goes to end whitout errors...Why???? i dont know but ill try to get an image tomorrow... Hector
Just one more question... I put the server to retrieve the image about 4 hours ago...and dindt finish yet..can u tell me if this is correct or i did something wrong Hector
It doesn't take that long normally, maybe half an hour. Maybe a network problem or a slow connection?
I think is a slow connection problem... can i add a NIC to put the server into my local network to do the images?...currently im using my Internet connection ( 512 mbps) . Hector
