Went through the Dansguardian/Squid setup and configuration here. The problem I am running into is that the filtering will filter out sites pretty well, but it looks like if the site browsing is done without the "www", the site doesn't filter out properly. Has anyone else experienced this, or know an easy way to resolve it without having to manually entering the sites into the blocked listing?

    Thanks

If you want to block http://www.badsite.com are you putting into /etc/dansguardian/lists/bannedsites

    Code:
    www.badsite.com
    or are you putting in

    Code:
    badsite.com
    without the www?

If you leave out the www, it should block both, and would be the correct way of doing it. But you're going to need to give some more details if this doesn't fix it.
