    The following NEW packages will be installed:
      dante-server
    0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 5 not upgraded.
    Need to get 123kB of archives.
    After unpacking 340kB of additional disk space will be used.
    Get:1 http://http.us.debian.org stable/main dante-server 1.1.14-2 [123kB]
    Fetched 123kB in 1s (121kB/s)
    Selecting previously deselected package dante-server.
    (Reading database ... 27115 files and directories currently installed.)
    Unpacking dante-server (from .../dante-server_1.1.14-2_i386.deb) ...
    Setting up dante-server (1.1.14-2) ...
    Starting Dante SOCKS daemon: Apr 10 19:41:15 danted[8629]: fixsettings(): no internal address given
    Apr 10 19:41:15 danted[8629]: sockdexit(): terminating
    invoke-rc.d: initscript danted, action "start" failed.
    Wondering if someone can tell me how to fix above error, or point me in the direction of a a good SOCKS5 proxy server that runs nicely on Debian3.1 :).

    Just having a stab in the dark, I would say that it looks like it can't resolve your internal address. Is this machine installed on an internal network? Does it have an ip address assigned to it?
