    Hello folks.

    EEK!

    I upgrade the (ubuntu) server to oneiric and found I couldn't send mail from my desktop; I was getting a 554 error.

    So of I went for a look around. A look in mysql-virtual_client.cf shows...

    dbname = dbispconfig
    table = mail_access

    So, off I go to MySQL and EEK! That database doesn't even exist!

    Can anyone tell me how to recreate it please?

    Thankies.

    Simon.

    I've found the database... I must have been going blind. :D

    Lo and behold, there are appropriate entries in mail_user so that's ok.

    Doesn't help with sending mail though. I can receive, no problem but sending gives pain.

    Ay ideas?

    Most likely the ubuntu upgrade has overwritten some config files. To fix that, download the ispconfig tar.gz file, unpack it and run the update.php script to update the system. Choose yes when the updater asks you to reconfigure services.

    I recommend that you use this ISPConfig version for the update:
