I followed the tutorial <<The Perfect Server - Debian 10 (Nginx, BIND, Dovecot, ISPConfig 3.2)>>
During the installation it says this: ISPConfig is using acme.sh now as Let's Encrypt client. Install acme.sh using the following command:
    curl https://get.acme.sh | sh -s

After installation I cannot associate certificates with my domains; i.e. I create the certificate but cannot activate it on the domain.

Here are two screens that offer a multitude of choices and I can't do it. Note that this happens with the debian 10 Buster version whereas with debian 9 Ispconfig 3 everything is fine.
How to set up certificate management with debian 10 Ispconfig 3 and acme.sh?

    It just works.
Maybe install again using ISPConfig Automatic Installer, that at least should work.
If host still can not get Let's Encrypt certificates, follow LE Error FAQ. https://forum.howtoforge.com/threads/lets-encrypt-error-faq.74179/
