    Hi,
I installed a new Debian 9 on my PC, following the instruction from https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial/debian-9-stretch-minimal-server/
Debian starts up, when I change from DHCH to Static with "service networking restart" I get an error.... networking.service Active Failed (code =exited , status=1/failure) (Failed to start Raise network interfaces)

    How to solve this problem?

    Thanks

Consider using the current stable release. Debian releases already use stable (old) software. Using oldstable Debian for a new project leads to a heavily outdated server.

Please post your /etc/network/interfaces file. Do you get any helpful information in systemctl status network.service or journalctl -xn
