I followed the Howto on making a Debian Etch Postfix/SASL/mySQL server and it worked fine, but I put it on a Xen DomU image and then migrated the image and now it won't accept incoming mail from remote domains, I think because postfix generates a ssl when it initially installs, how can I regenerate that .crt without reinstalling postfix, can I just use openssl? How does postfix handle those self-signed .crt's? It seems like they would have to get it from ca-certs.org through some generic Debian account? Thanks, Cameron San Diego
Are there any errors in your mail log? You can recreate the cert as shown here: http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_debian_etch_p5
no, it just seemed the mail disappeared, which really meant delivery was delayed from the remote host. I put a correct reverse-DNS entry in (or my ISP did) and it seems to be working better, but I think I still need to re-create the .crt, right?
