    Hi all,

    Long time user of ISPconfig 2 and for debian I could use;

    /etc/init.d/ispconfig_server restart

    to restart the server. How in the heck do you do it on ISPconfig 3? I searched the entire drive for ispconfig and all I see is ispconfig_update.sh.

    I also search the faqforge and ispconfig.org to no avail. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Ken

    ISPConfig 3 is webapp, whick means there are no running services like ISPConfig 2.

    What is the goal of restarting ispconfig for you ?
    Maybe there is a better way to do this...

    very interesting. I'd made some changes to the phpmyadmin stuff and it wasn't refreshing the variables. Even after restarting apache2. The only fix was to finally restart the VM.

    This does not sound like a problem that is related to ispconfig. If you change values with phpmyadmin in a mysql database, ispconfig is not involved in that process.

    If you changed values in phpmyadmin, maybe it was about the mysql server... So you had to restart mysql server.
