I now that the native windows installation supports NFS, but i would like to have a linux ditro on that beauty. thanks a lot for any help or coment. elias
hello, Thanks for your fast reply. here is the link to the product: http://www.iomega-europe.com/eu/products.aspx?productId=NAS400r1.0&language=en&StaticPage=1 Any ideas?? thanks
by the way, i contacted iomega a few months ago for help on instaling linux on their machine, but they refused...
Nice device! Why do you want ot get rid of Windows on that system? I think you have to fiddle quite some time with Debian to get all the features that it has now with Windows...
Yes its very nice! We got it in a very nice deal in ebay. We won´t if we can´t find a reliable way to do it. We are developing our project only in open source software and wanted to be firm on this, but I guess we´ll have to stay with this win 2003 instalation. Thanks a lot, elies
If it's running stable, I wouldn't touch it. Otherwise you could install Debian on it, but I guess you'd have to set some features aside.
