Hi, A couple of months ago I installed a server following the "The Perfect Server - Debian Squeeze (Debian 6.0) With BIND & Dovecot [ISPConfig 3]" guide. The server is working perfectly, except for a little issue: using POP3, I can't download large emails (more than 30-40Mb). When I try to download such messages, after 10 minutes downloading (It's correct, I'm on a slow DSL connection), Dovecot closes the connection with the message "POP3([email protected]): Disconnected for inactivity top=0/0, retr=1/21162104, del=0/2, size=136275095". What can I do to solve this? Is there any solution? It's possible to increase Dovecot's timeout?
You may need to check and change the settings for max upload and down lod at the Mail Client and may the php.ini as well. Also in CP the limit must apply to what you get. In CP under System ->Server Config -Mail, the size have to be set correctly. If you use an Relay SMTP Server as I, than the limits from that Relay provider apply as well!
