I have an update problem on squeeze with Ispconfig 3. Error is as follows: Setting up nfs-common (1:1.2.2-4squeeze2) ... insserv: warning: script 'K01jailkit' missing LSB tags and overrides insserv: Service portmap has to be enabled to start service nfs-common insserv: exiting now! update-rc.d: error: insserv rejected the script header dpkg: error processing nfs-common (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 configured to not write apport reports Errors were encountered while processing: nfs-common I have attempted to run update and safe-upgrade with portmap enabled but the error still appears. Any advice? Thanks.
Thank Falco. I ran insserv portmap and then ran aptitude update and aptitude safe-upgrade. After innserv portmap the response was as follows: insserv: warning: script 'K01jailkit' missing LSB tags and overrides insserv: warning: script 'jailkit' missing LSB tags and overrides after running aptitude update and aptitude safe-upgrade the response was as follows: aptitude safe-upgrade The following partially installed packages will be configured: nfs-common No packages will be installed, upgraded, or removed. 0 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded. Need to get 0 B of archives. After unpacking 0 B will be used. Starting NFS common utilities: statd failed! I re-ran the update and safe-upgrade procedure and there were no errors. Neither portmap nor nfs-common are running right now. It looks like your code did the trick. Thanks again. Rick
