hi, I have isconfig3 on debian, is it possible to change the default chmod files and folders (clients)? currently it is 444 for files and 555 folders I would put 644 for files and 755 for folders, it seems to me the ideal thank you
Same problem here... I have the same problem, umask is a waste of time because the defaults security settings are too severe. I've tried the configuration files httpd.conf, vsftpd.conf, .bashrc (setting umask for session) I am reading on setuid and the sticky bit but am at a loss... We can't be the only two people with this problem! Where's our geek in shining PC armor?
