Is the default path for the web sites /srv/www when you install ISPC. The problem is that I tried to re-compile apache... which failed and then locked my machine and everytime I restart it it freezes during boot and then I restored from a backup DVD which did not put the grub back properly so it wont boot at all now.... so I was going to re-install it all over again but this time leave the web sites in the default location so that suexec will work without modifiation. Any Comments......
yes Suse 10 x64.... so I can install suse using all defaults (as per your guide) and then install ISPC using defaults (not using expert mode) and then everything should work (suexec) ??????? Thanks
No, you must use expert mode to choose /srv/www as the web root for ISPConfig otherwise /home/www will be used! As you're using a 64-bit SuSE, have a look here: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1626
