I have a user who has more than 50.000 mails in inbox. How can we delete all mails older than 3 months?
The easiest way is to open the mailbox with a imap client like thunderbird or thunderbird portable (which does not require a installation), then mark all emails that are older then 3 months and click on delete and aftrewards select to empty the recycle bin in the imap client. And for future use, imap clients like thunderbirds have options to delete emails automatically after a defined timespan. So you can configure your mailclient to remove older emails automatically.
