Sure, that's already enabled by default. But you can configure the required password strength in detail under System > interface > main config if you want to require even stronger passwords.
I've looked at these settings before, but can't find them in under Web and Mail settings, I just now found them in Misc settings, Thanks.
It's the same setting for all passwords, no matter if db, web, email. That's why its on the misc tab.
