I suggest that you re-install ISPConfig.
    Run
    Code:
    rm -fr /root/ispconfig
    rm -fr /home/admispconfig
and delete the empty database, then unpack the ISPConfig sources and run setup again.

Is skip-networking disabled in your mySQL configuration?

Search for the config file my.cnf, motly its /etc/my.cnf and search for the line skip-networking. If there is no sharp (#) in front of the line, skip-networking is enabled.

It is easier for others that may get the same error later to find the solution if it is posted in the forum.

Have you created the database for ISPConfig before you installed it, if so, the installer will fail. Does the mysql user you entered in the iSPConfig installer has all permissins, including the permissions to create tables?

If the DB hadi exists, the installer will fail! Delete the database and the directories /home/admispconfig, /root/ispconfig and install_ispconfig and run the setup again.
